Mind, in Time and Space

One cannot make a decision in the moment of now. All decisions are made from the past, and then you work in the past to recreate a future that has already passed based on that decision.

If it is true that we are creating ourselves and the circumstances of our existence, then were does that existence or experience take place, in the past, present or future?

The brain is only a processor and a very slow one at that. The brain processes information received by the five senses of smell, touch, taste, hearing and sight. By the time the brain has processed the information received by the bodily sensors and made a judgement about the information, the information is old news and so is its reaction.

In a recent commercial for Young Drivers of Canada, the announcer said that your teenager has only 1.3 seconds to react to a car that has pulled in front of him. That’s not much in human terms, but as far as processing goes it’s a lifetime. Of course we are not computers and our brains process adequately enough for our survival in the physical world and we have learned to live within these limitations of time and space.

The mind is not the brain, the mind is that which gives the body life, it is life itself. There is only one mind and that mind is operating individually in all things. That mind sees the future, the present and the past simultaneously. The ego which is the individualized peace of the mind sees the future as part of the mind, it then goes back into the past to recreate the future through the physical thought process. The ego sees the finished product in its mind’s eye then reacts to it by recreating it. The product or action is real in the minds eye and the body reproduces it in space-time one increment at a time.

The mind is the only part of us that can truly experience itself in the moment of now. The mind sees the future and the ego reacts to it in the past, but the past can never be present in the future so it always recreates in the past. So past, present and future all happen now. The body is as a time machine so that the mind can experience the creation of its own thought. So we are an intermediary function of a system that lives in the now, and cannot experience a past or future.

Humanity is a process not a thing, it cannot be separated from mind because it is a thought of mind, it is the physical aspect of mind and this allows mind to recreate itself one step at a time. So it cannot be rightfully said that we are children of God, but we are actually God experiencing being God. We are a process with no mind of its own except for our connection to the one mind. We live in the illusion of being separate and apart so that the process can work and the process is simply life experiencing itself, trying to make sense by experiencing one piece at a time within the illusion.

Knowing this should give us some kind of peace of mind (connection with mind) in that we are eternal and cannot be destroyed-only the illusion can. Everything that we experience is appropriate and as we become more aware individually, the closer we become to being all that is again, and the illusion of time and space will disappear as we discover what it is to be the mind (be God) and the process will begin again.

We are already that which we seek to be and there is no need to find ourselves. We are not here to learn anything-we are here to simply experience physical life within our own model of it and how we see ourselves in relation to it and the one mind. Life has no purpose other than that which we give it. Life is the only purpose and our purpose is as much an illusion as we are.

Dimensional Shifts

“Spirit is beyond the void of space. This realm, beyond the void, is not an empty nothingness; it is the womb of creation. — Nature goes to the same place to create a galaxy of stars, a cluster of nebulas, a rain forest, a human body, or a thought… That place is Spirit.” (6)

The idea of thought coming from Spirit is a little general and not something I agree with unless he means REAL thought rather than regurgitated thought. Deepak Chopra is a great and wonderful human being who escaped the material competitive focused world and the ‘expertise’ that was his, as a doctor. However, we have shown that science is getting dangerously close to finding templates and forms that mirror this kind of philosophy. The church felt science was philosophy and that all things came from this kind of godhead in the ‘Dark Ages’; and scientists have justifiably thought any mention of a bridge to religion is fraught with these kinds of intellectual authoritarian terrors. Perhaps now we can re-evaluate our belief in godly forces and not involve religious or priestly interpreters who ask us to ‘follow’ like sheep. To replace one set of interpreters with another form of ‘expertise’ is not good. Surely there is a balance that harmonizes with purpose and true knowingness.

The equipment based on Tesla’s ‘non-force info packets’ that draws energy from vacuum that Bearden has patented and the wireless transmission of generated energy will make perpetual motion seem tame. The real possibilities of using other dimensions as storage for energy we create could be just around the corner. Someday the barriers we have created in our real world through an ignorant adherence to conventions of black and white certainty will be brought down just like the Berlin Wall; we built it to keep ideas and people from each other.

I’m not cognizant of all the ins and outs of ‘red-shifts’ or other astrophysical esoterics so the generalities of my insights might not have as much merit. The exorcisms I’ve been involved in helping free both the possessed and possessor are part of the limbo state which energy exists in after death. Does this limbo state include the same energy band- width that our solar or auric body travels in? Not by experience of the astral work I’ve done. However, one can meet dead people in astral travel if one has a guide or the spirit is attuned that you are about to visit. That spirit would be a multi-dimensional traveler then. There are many shades and variations of spiritual bandwidths and it may be because there is so much more energy in the unseen world that the astrophysicists told us about earlier. Ninety-five per cent versus 5 per cent is a large ratio in favor of the unseen. The ultraviolet and light energies might even be part of the visible universe, which would mean we can only actually see a percentage of the material universe. And as big an issue as all of this kind of talk is, we still must consider whether or not we know what we see when it slaps us in the face, as they say.

The average person today will likely have their mind and senses closed to the opportunity that the thalami offer to accentuate, amplify and direct non-visual forces to our conscious processing centers. The operational paradigms of the spiritual world are a science unto themselves, and the astrophysicists may not have as good a picture as I hope they do. There are those I have met, who can travel between dimensions and we will deal with these aspects of life and natural possibilities versus hallucination in other parts of this book. But, if the modern research is right about the Thalami, I feel quite certain that all the dimensions are at our disposal in every aspect of our existence. When one remembers the way we thought about spirits and devils as we listened to the preachers who tried to tell us about HELL – it is difficult to open our minds to what they were saying about the saints who performed the very miracles that men and women have always been able to do.

We shall see that the ‘Gospel of Thomas’ from the Dag (or Nag) Hammadi ‘finds’ confirms Jesus never performed any miracle that you or I can’t do. We are all the ‘children of God’ (John 10:34). The dimensional spiritual world is science and real even if we are ignorant of it. That is what the Gnostics he studied with say is the ‘Original Sin’ that separates us from God – IGNORANCE! Scipio Africanus and others before and after the time of Jesus were used to seeing each other and the spirits of their loved ones alive or dead! In many instances there is potential to visualize the future and it will happen with proper INTENT. Bucky Fuller did it, and I have too. Some say the forces of darkness that created the Dark Age were able to re-program the world mind to the point that our ability was diminished by the evil they fomented. Energy of a negative nature does have to be attuned with good, in order for Abraxas or unity to occur, on the grand scale and as an individual. That is why selfish prayer is wasteful and one must operate in ‘brotherhood’ and love to come up with things like the geodesic dome or wireless ‘free energy’. Still these things are on the shelf and few really know how great they are and how much better the world might be.

I Can Do All Things Through Christ Jesus Who Gives Me Strength

“…I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4: 11b – 13, NIV.

From the time I can remember, I have loved and had an affiinty with critters. When asked as a young girl what I was going to be when I grew up, I would always say a veterinarian. However, that did not happen. My life took a downward spiral that led me away from God’s purpose for my life into a world of sin which greatly detracted from my goals. While my love for animals never abated nor changed, my direction did.

I truly misspent my time and yet I can look back now and see that everything I’ve done has still led to God’s purpose for my life in the manner He gifted me with. I maybe didn’t become a veterinarian, I did work with them for years. In fact, I learned a lot of different vocations in working with animals which has all led to me being in the holistic pet care industry.

Again, what has that to do with being able to do all things through Christ Jesus? Well, He gave me this passion. He gave me this desire. He gives us these goals and dreams to serve Him with. He also gives us the strength and endurance to fulfill those desires. Isn’t that amazing? We think it’s all on our own power at times and energy, when in reality it is all from Him for His glory!

This last week was very trying in many ways including the loss of Pope John Paul II. While I am not a Catholic (was when I was growing up), I feel the world has lost a true child of God while God has gained another son into His kingdom. I haven’t been sad for that very reason and in fact have been encouraged by the Pope’s life but it is the end of an era leaving a bit of uncertainty. Again though, God is in controll

The week was trying because while two partners and I pursue a new online venture in holistic pet care seminars, a veterinarian who was initially involved decided to bail out. He did so because partly he couldn’t figure out some of the technical stuff. I can totally understand that though. What I don’t understand, however, is the way he left -with a stabbing attack upon me, my partners, the internet community we are using as our platform, the support team, even the fact that I’m not as educated as he. In fact he even attacked our website and the fact that we didn’t glorify him as the week’s featured instructor. He went so far as to attack our dream and that he hopes I find a particular little venture I can actually do.

While I’ve tried various ventures to go forth with this particular veterinarian, nothing seemed to work out. It all felt forced. Rather than continue to stress out and wonder why no one was even signing up for his class, I prayed. That’s what I should’ve done in the first place. Why is it, it’s always our last resort instead of our first? Our strength and power come from God alone and yet we try to go upon our own strength so often.

It was amazing how much of the weight of this troubling situation lifted once I prayed and received clarity from God on this whole thing. While I didn’t yet know that this doctor would attack me (and when he did, it did hurt a lot), I did know instantly that it wasn’t going to work with him on our team.

Once I received the very hurtful and veiled ugliness of that particular email, and I did cry (a lot), I began to pray and ask God for His direction and strength. Funny thing is, an encouraging story I posted on the IVWCC RSS channel came to mind “Tiny Frogs”. I laughed out loud knowing God was telling me to go forth, and to grow some more character!

I’ll backtrack a bit here and say that in a nutshell the Tiny Frogs story is about a bunch of tiny little frogs who were going to have a race to the top of a big building. It was a daunting task for these little frogs but they all knew they could do it. There was a huge crowd at the bottom of the building initially cheering them on as they went forth to conquer this building. However, after a while many of the frogs got very tired, and then the crowd started to turn, telling them things like “You’ll never make it! Turn back! You’re gonna fall!” and on and on. Eventually one by one all the frogs dropped out except one little frog who never wavered but kept his eye on the goal and he made it all the way to the top. When he was later interviewed he was asked why he was able to make it but not the others. He went “what? can’t hear you”. He was deaf! He couldn’t hear the naysayers so he just kept on going!!

Moral of the story is, when it is God’s will for us to accomplish His purpose for our lives and His voice is the only one we listen to while on that purposeful mission, we’ll accomplish that goal upon the strength and power of our Savior Jesus! By serving others, we are serving our God.

Stepping Into the Darkness

One of the “loopholes” in my philosophical belief system when I was younger (and at this point in my life, that means “almost middle-aged”! ) was whether or not there was an evil force in the universe equal to God who served as man’s adversary. He was the original “bad guy,” and the human race seemed to be caught between these two invisible forces – one of good and one of evil. People, as the pawns in this universal power play, followed either Jesus or Satan.

I was surprised, when I started really studying the Bible instead of just reading it, to discover that Satan existed, according to the Jewish tradition, for thousands of years before Jesus of Nazareth was born. He’s always been a key player in the six-thousand year history of the Judeo/Christian religions, and he makes his first appearance early on in Genesis when he tempts Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. If we choose to, we can look at the Jewish/Christian histories as the ultimate example of good vs. evil – like Star Wars, without the spaceships.

My inner truth says that there is no power in the universe equal to God, but my outer experience has confirmed – time and time again – that there is a dark side to life that is anything but God-like. The Christian perception that we are caught in the midst of a major power struggle between two equal forces – helpless victims of invisible forces fighting each other for our souls, and having one isolated lifetime in which to choose which force to follow – is one that I simply can’t accept. If God is the Creative Source – if God is the beginning and the end of it all, and everything that exists is a part of God himself – then it must have been God who created evil. Seemed logical to me.

As I walked a little farther down my personal path to spiritual understanding, I came to realize something else: God doesn’t really “create” anything in definitive form. He creates potential, and that potential is “made real” in one of two ways: either through a natural growth cycle (as in flowers and trees) that takes it’s own course according to the natural order of the universe as governed by Universal Law, or through conscious manifestation into something specific as defined by the life form who is manifesting it. This whole concept gets really confusing, and when “The Seth Material” was first published back in the 1960′s, one of the concepts that made it so controversial was the idea that nothing really “is” except God. Everything physical is false; we’ve created it by putting enough energy and emotion behind our thoughts to make it real. This is the concept that “creating our own reality” is based on: we have an idea, we believe in that idea, we feed emotional energy into that idea that gives it substance, and it becomes reality.

So – back to my original question! – where does “evil” fit into the picture? All we have to do is look around, and we have instant confirmation that it is there, and it has been made real to any definition. “Evil” has as much – or even more – power in our lives than “good.” Those light-hearted souls who contend that evil does not exist – who proclaim that “bad deeds are only the result of bad choices” – are failing to recognize the power behind this idea made real. Everything in God’s universe has a counterpart, and it is this duality that offers us – as spiritual beings in physical form with the option to choose what kind of person we want to be and what kind of life we want to live – the opportunity to exert our free will at all. Why would God give us the option to choose without giving us, at the same time, options to choose from?

Did God create evil so that we could choose between it and good? That’s not the way God works, especially if He only creates potential, and it’s up to us to become “co-creators with God” by manifesting that potential into something real. If everything is of God, and everything is raw potential, then my logical conclusion would be that God creates energy – neutral energy – that we, in turn, manifest into “light” or “darkness.” It isn’t that evil is a force separate from God; it’s that evil is a human choice to use God’s creative energy for less than spiritual purposes.

Every world religion uses the phrase “the light” to refer to the state of being that comes from working in a position of spiritual awareness and an open connection to God; every world religion uses the phrase “the darkness” to refer to the shadow life that comes from closing off our connection to God so we can’t see the people and events in our life from the light of God’s love. Each belief system has it’s own names for the good guys and the bad guys, and each has a long history of the battle between these two forces for the souls of men. The problem today is that we fail to see ourselves as co-creators of this powerful energy, and we fail to see that the solution is as easy as making a conscious choice NOT to co-create with others who are manifesting darkness.

How many times a day are we presented with the opportunity to respond from darkness to what is happening in our lives? Too many: every time someone is rude to us, we have a natural tendency to be rude back. When someone else wants to argue, our ego wants the instant gratification of having the last painful word. Our greatest challenge in choosing between the light and the darkness is the difficulty of turning the other cheek and walking away from the opportunity for conflict and confrontation. We’re much too human to stop, in that intensely emotional present moment, and choose the light. We’ve learned our survival skills well, and don’t always realize that emotional survival (that is, giving in to the emotional need to create chaos in our lives) is a giant step into the darkness and sometimes the forerunner to spiritual death in this lifetime. We can’t work from the light if we are responding from the darkness; we can’t say one thing and do another.

If everything that God creates is neutral, so that we can make it into whatever we want it to be (aha! adds a whole new dimension to “Ask and you shall be given,” doesn’t it?) then there can’t be any “gray” areas. We have a tendency to justify our actions by saying that – even though what we’re doing is obviously “of the darkness” because it is against God’s laws of love and mutual respect – we are “of the light” because we see, from our own distorted perspective, a higher purpose to what we’re doing, and we’re foolish enough to think that God will applaud our darkness if it’s used to further His objectives, as we understand them. This is the conviction of seemingly endless groups throughout history who have persecuted, tortured and killed in the name of religion. This is not God’s work; this is not of His Light. This is of the darkness, and those who advocate working from the darkness in the name of light are the “false prophets” that every religion warns us about.

When I was a child, I learned a big word in Sunday school: omnipresent. God is omnipresent, and – if we really want to reach a point in our lives where we can apply our spiritual understanding to our daily lives – we have to understand what that means. It means that nothing exists in God’s universe that is not of God, that was not created from the energy of God Himself, and that includes “darkness” or “evil.” We need to move past the antiquated idea that God forces anything on us, and make an active choice to respond to the people, and the events, and the circumstances in our lives from the Light instead of from the Darkness.

It’s only when we accept personal responsibility for being the co-creators that we are that we can begin to see the many ways in which we create our own dark reality, and step out of the darkness that has consumed us (and our lives and our relationships) and move into the Light, where we can become a reflection of God’s love at work.
